Dr Sketchy Auckland Presents: Aquaman! MC & Organizer

With the new Justice League movie now in cinemas, we decided to coerce Aquaman to come to the surface and pose for all you land lubbers! Our model for the evening is performing artist, Emmanuel Reynaud! More info about him and his wealth of experience at the bottom of the event blurb.

He is really excited to be returning to Dr Sketchy for the second time! You may remember him as Tarzan from 2016. This is out last Sketchy for 2017, so make sure you come along as our next one won't be until Feb 2018!

Your MC for the evening is Headmistress and long time Dr. Sketchy Auckland MC Lilly "Fishy Queen" Loca, who will entertain you with irreverent banter (she blames the wine) and scandalous stories. Her wing man for the evening in charge of all the technical mumbo-jumbo will be Mark "Sea Slug" Rous, who will keep the beats (and timing) going all night long.

Strictly R18 due to the night taking place in a bar (aka. The Wine Cellar in SKA - Saint Kevins Arcade in Auckland CBD). We start at 7pm sharp. Please note, we are becoming rather popular and as such, we recommend you come early to ensure a seat! $10.00 cash on the door to feed the model.

Bring your favourite tools: pens, paper, pencils, crayons, glue, cameras and/or finger paint. Dr. Sketchy is open to anyone, regardless of creed, colour and artistic style.

Note: Dr Sketchy is an anti-art movement, focused on making live drawing fun, entertaining and out of the box. No nudity is involved, but an open mind and sense of fun is a must. This is not a burlesque show, but people are welcome to attend to watch goings on if they wish.

Proudly supported by our patrons of the arts, Arkham City Comics - AucklandGraphic BrewingGordon Harris The Art & Graphic Store andPastie Politics: Burlesque and Feminism. Thanks for supporting the art monkeys!
